A customer in Nashville bought this and told me he’d been a musician for 10 years and wanted his first “I made it” watch to be this exact reference. He couldn’t justify $92,000, and he didnt want it to be in full gold like the original, so we kept the interior dial and hands, then switch it up to a stainless steel case. He wore it to a session the next week and two other musicians asked about it.
The green sunburst dial is rich and deep; not lime, not forest, but a perfect emerald that shifts in different light. The chronograph sub-dials are perfectly proportioned. The whole watch feels intentional in a way most homages don’t.
